Dr. Repta: A Journey of Excellence in Plastic Surgery Education and Training

Dr. Repta graduated with high honors from Portland State University where he studied Psychology and Biology. Dr. Repta was honored with the Laurel Merit Scholarship at Oregon Health Sciences University, which covered the full cost of his medical school tuition for four years. Upon completing medical school he was accepted into the competitive plastic surgery residency program at Michigan State University. There he trained with many adept plastic surgeons, including renowned breast surgeon Dr. Dennis Hammond.

Following his residency, Dr. Repta completed two exceptionally sought-after fellowships in cosmetic plastic surgery. Within those, he had the privilege of working with the acclaimed plastic surgeons, Dr. Grant Stevens and Dr. Joseph Hunstad, who is internationally known for body contouring. During his fellowship with Dr. Hunstad, Dr. Repta co-authored The Atlas of Abdominoplasty. He helped to introduce new innovative body contouring procedures to the world of plastic surgery literature, including the Purse-String Gluteoplasty and the Bra Line Back Lift™.
